Personal Injury Legal Assistant
Shannon is a Santa Rosa native and a graduate of El Molino High School. She earned her Paralegal Certification from Empire College and has worked in the Santa Rosa personal injury community since 1993.
It is easy to say that Shannon is an expert in handling personal injury matters. Shannon has worked exclusively on personal injury cases for her entire career, handling cases for thousands of clients from our community. She is instrumental in handling cases for our injury clients from beginning to end, and all phases in between. Our clients learn that they can depend upon Shannon to take or promptly return their calls and always treat them with respect and kindness. To say that our clients love Shannon is an understatement. She is truly the backbone or our success.
Shannon has worked with Kevin McConnell since 1998. In 2014 Kevin formed his own personal injury practice and Shannon followed soon after. We have worked as a team for almost twenty-five years.
John grew up in Sonoma County and followed in his father's footsteps by enrolling in the Police Academy at Santa Rosa Junior College. He graduated from the 153rd Basic Law Enforcement Course in 2006 and started work in law enforcement. He worked for twelve years in local law enforcement honing his investigative skills in criminal cases and vehicular collisions and reconstruction. His immersion in law and procedure resulted in a skill set including excellent courtroom testimony, in-field evidence collection and preservation, all of which he brings to bear on behalf of our clients in Santa Rosa personal injury cases.
Notably, when John moved to the private sector, he worked under experienced Private Investigator Jim Baker of J. Baker and Associates. Mr. Baker mentored and guided him through the transition to civilian investigations. After numerous victories for local personal injury attorneys and their grateful clients, Mr. Baker took his well-earned leave from investigations and John carried on using the lessons learned from Jim Baker.
So why "Baker Street" Investigations ? In the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes became the world's best known "consulting detective" and kept his office at 221 B Baker Street in London. It was only too fitting that I name my investigations business with a nod to the most famous consulting detective of all time and my friend and mentor, Jim Baker, without whom I would not have had the opportunity to serve our community and its personal injury lawyers.
