John-Garretson

John Garretson

Investigator
Baker Street Investigations
www.bsinorcal.com

John grew up in Sonoma County and followed in his father's footsteps by enrolling in the Police Academy at Santa Rosa Junior College.  He graduated from the 153rd Basic Law Enforcement Course in 2006 and started work in law enforcement. He worked for twelve years in local law enforcement honing his investigative skills in criminal cases and vehicular collisions and reconstruction.  His immersion in law and procedure resulted in a skill set including excellent courtroom testimony, in-field evidence collection and preservation, all of which he brings to bear on behalf of our clients in Santa Rosa personal injury cases.

Notably, when John moved to the private sector, he worked under experienced Private Investigator Jim Baker of J. Baker and Associates. Mr. Baker mentored and guided him through the transition to civilian investigations.  After numerous victories for local personal injury attorneys and their grateful clients, Mr. Baker took his well-earned leave from investigations and John carried on using the lessons learned from Jim Baker.

So why "Baker Street" Investigations?  In the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes became the world's best known "consulting detective" and kept his office at 221 B Baker Street in London.  It was only too fitting that he name the investigations business with a nod to the most famous consulting detective of all time and his friend and mentor, Jim Baker, without whom he would not have had the opportunity to serve our community and its personal injury lawyers.
